PIN is an e-commerce jewelry brand. They shipped their products in a Kraft shipping box. Instead of using a custom printed mailer box, they choose to use a custom sticker wrapped around the box. With their name and slogan and website QR code on it.
Inside items are packed in foam paper cover, this helps to protect the inside packaging but also will not add too much weight on the parcel, so no need to spend additional money on shipping cost.Inside is a paper bag with gold foil logo. With ribbon handle for carrying use it looks like a small carry bag. There is Vecro Tape sticked under the flapping. So we open and close it easily.
Now I am taking out the items and try to unfold to see how it looks like. Here it is. Just a plain sheet of paper with one color printed on outside with matte lamination. It's pretty cool. Firstly it is obviously cheaper then a paper bag; secondly, flat paper save storage space; thirdly it is very impressive. So I give it full scores.
Now let's have a look at the box there is also a paper cover in same printing technics as the outside paper bag. But what's out of my imagination is the inside. It is not a paper box but it's something like a plastic container holding all the jewelries. It is light and with transparent film in the middle. So we can see clearly what's inside. I have seen this item in a museum for stone storing, but I can't imagine they use it in jewelry packaging.
Another packaging set is a jewelry box with drawstring pouch. The jewelry box is lid and bottom style, again with gold foil logo. And inside with a plain black color velvet drawstring pouch. There is a paper envelope containing a white color jewelry wiper, made of microfiber and with a embossed logo.
PIN jewelry product price is mainly from $30-60 so packaging investment is comparatively not as much as brands like APM HEFANG or Kate Spades. But its case is more suitable for most e-commerce sellers to learn. Let's see what ideas our budget time can bring to you.
